PCB launches internal inquiry amid match-fixing concerns
The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched an internal disciplinary investigation following reports of match-fixing concerns during the Test series against England. The probe comes after Pakistan's 194-run defeat in the second Test at Lord's and the subsequent removal of seven players and two coaches.
The board has not named individuals under investigation or provided a timeline for completion. Earlier measures included confiscation of players' mobile phones and restrictions on contacts during the tour.
National selector Misbah-ul-Haq resigned after the squad changes.
