PCB launches match-fixing probe after Lord's Test defeat

The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched an internal inquiry after reports of match-fixing concerns following Pakistan's 194-run defeat to England in the second Test at Lord's. The probe comes amid broader disciplinary measures that include the removal of seven players and two coaches.

The board has not named individuals or provided a timeline for the investigation. Earlier steps included confiscation of players' mobile phones and restrictions on contacts during the tour.

National selector Misbah-ul-Haq resigned after the squad changes.
