PCB raised concerns over Asian Games cricket venue

The Pakistan Cricket Board raised concerns about the makeshift venue for the Asian Games cricket tournament, and the BCCI followed up on those concerns, the Hindustan Times reported. The tournament begins on September 17, two days before the Games' opening ceremony.

The PCB flagged the condition and readiness of the facility. BCCI officials then contacted the Asian Cricket Council to seek clarification on the arrangements.

The Asian Games cricket competition will feature eight men's teams and four women's teams. The matches will be played in a T20 format across a compressed schedule.
