Noorveer Singh run out after shadow batting in Sher-E-Punjab T20 League

Noorveer Singh was run out in unusual fashion during the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League after being caught shadow batting. The incident occurred as Bathinda Royals chased 206 against Jalandhar Warriors. A video of the dismissal has circulated widely online.

Prabhsimran Singh scored 110 for Jalandhar Warriors on Thursday after making an unbeaten 125 off 47 balls two days earlier. The Punjab Kings opener was dropped from India's T20I squad for the Afghanistan series before these knocks. He batted in the middle order for Jalandhar in both matches.

Jalandhar Warriors will face Ludhiana Lions in their next fixture at the PCA Stadium in Mohali on Friday, 4 September.
