Prasidh Krishna named Impact Player of Sri Lanka Test series

Prasidh Krishna was named the Impact Player of the Series after taking seven wickets in India's 1-0 Test series win over Sri Lanka. Krishna collected the wickets at an average of 24.57 across the two-match series. The fast bowler credited the reserve players and support staff for their contributions behind the scenes.

Krishna thanked his teammates after receiving the award for his performances in the series. His wickets played a key role in India's victory in the first Test at Galle. The consistency across both matches earned him recognition from the selection panel.

India's pace attack performed effectively without Jasprit Bumrah in the squad. Krishna's series figures demonstrated his ability to lead the attack in Bumrah's absence. The award highlighted his contribution to the team's success in challenging conditions.
