Prasidh Krishna ruled out of New Zealand ODI series with hamstring injury

Prasidh Krishna will miss India's five-match ODI series against New Zealand after sustaining a left hamstring injury during the second ODI against West Indies on September 30. He bowled only five overs in Guwahati before the injury and will undergo match simulation and fitness tests at the Bengaluru Centre of Excellence on November 1 and 2.

A BCCI source confirmed that Krishna is expected to be ready for the Test series instead of the ODIs. Auqib Nabi is set to replace him in the ODI squad for all five matches. Nabi has played one ODI, returning figures of 0 for 84 from 8.5 overs on debut against West Indies, and has taken 56 wickets in 37 List A matches at an average of 28.87.

India completed a 3-0 T20I series win over New Zealand with a six-wicket victory in Wellington, where Abhishek Sharma scored 113 off 38 balls.
