Prasidh Krishna takes three wickets as Sri Lanka reach 130 for four at lunch
Morne Morkel says Prasidh Krishna has developed into a world-class bowler after Colombo spell.
India bowling coach Morne Morkel said Prasidh Krishna has developed into a world-class bowler after the pacer's short-ball strategy proved effective against Sri Lanka in Colombo. Krishna used the short ball to dismiss Kamil Mishara and Kamindu Mendis.
Morkel noted that Krishna had learned to ignore outside criticism and focus on his game development. The tall pacer bowled 18 overs on the opening day and troubled the batters with bounce and seam movement.
Krishna finished with three wickets in the innings as India took an iron grip on the match. Mitchell Starc has replaced Jasprit Bumrah as the No.1 ranked Test bowler after his performances against Bangladesh.
