Mumbai Indians signed Rajasthan allrounder Mahipal Lomror and Saurashtra batter Ruchit Ahir ahead of their final IPL league game to cover for injured Quinton de Kock and Raj Angad Bawa.
Rajasthan Royals also made a late swap, bringing in left-arm spinner Emanjot Chahal to replace injured Ravi Singh. Teams across the league are scrambling to patch injuries as the stage winds down.
MI's decision comes after they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens by four wickets — KKR chased 148 with six wickets in hand and more than an over to spare.
