Rahane praises Manav Suthar after Sri Lanka series performance

Ajinkya Rahane said Manav Suthar can bowl effectively regardless of pitch conditions after the spinner's performance in India's Test series against Sri Lanka. The former India captain highlighted the youngster's deceptive pace and quick learning.

Suthar took 23 wickets in his first three Test matches. Rahane noted that the spinner adapts his lengths and variations without relying on extreme spin or bounce.

Selectors are monitoring Suthar as a potential long-term option in home conditions where spin plays a larger role. His early consistency has placed him ahead of several established domestic spinners.
