Shukla credited the players for adapting to unfamiliar conditions and praised India's expanding talent depth.

BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla said India's 19-run win over Pakistan in the Asian Games men's cricket final was a matter of great pride. Shukla acknowledged the challenges the Indian players faced adapting to the playing conditions at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin but praised their ability to overcome these obstacles.

India posted 211 for six with Abhishek Sharma scoring 61 off 28 balls and Tilak Varma remaining unbeaten on 51 off 22. Pakistan managed 192 for six in reply despite Hasan Nawaz's 96 off 51 balls.
