Rinku Singh working on bowling to secure T20I spot

Rinku Singh is working on his bowling to improve his chances of a regular India T20I place.

Rinku Singh said he is working on his bowling to become a regular in India's T20I playing XI after being left out of the recent Afghanistan series and the Asian Games squad. The 28-year-old has been in and out of the side over the past year as selectors prefer all-rounders.

Rinku has played 48 T20Is since his debut in 2023, averaging nearly 37 with a strike rate of 156.34. He has taken three wickets in 16 balls with his off-spin at international level.

He acknowledged that being in and out of the team creates mental pressure but stressed the need to stay positive and develop a second skill.
