Rohit Sharma leaves ODI World Cup 2027 participation open

Rohit Sharma left his participation in the 2027 ODI World Cup up in the air, saying October 2027 is far away. The India opener remains at the centre of debate after a lean run during the England tour.

Retirement speculation has mounted following his recent form, though Sharma has not made any definitive statement. The BCCI has not indicated any change in selection policy regarding the veteran batter.

Sharma's future will be closely watched as India begin their build-up to the next ODI World Cup cycle.
