Ruturaj Gaikwad says CSK not rushing Fleming replacement

Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad confirmed the franchise is taking time to appoint Stephen Fleming's successor. Fleming stepped down in July after leading the side to the 2023 IPL title.

Gaikwad said there is no urgency to finalise a new head coach before the mini-auction or the next season. The club is reviewing options internally without fixed internal deadlines.

The approach differs from other franchises that moved quickly to appoint replacements after disappointing campaigns.
