S Sreesanth's father passes away at 89

S Sreesanth's father V Santhakumaran Nair died at 89 after treatment in Kochi.

V Santhakumaran Nair, father of former India fast bowler S Sreesanth, died at the age of 89 on Friday morning. He had been receiving treatment at Lisie Hospital in Kochi.

Family members confirmed the death and said the funeral will take place at the family home in Kothamangalam on Sunday. Sreesanth has not yet issued a public statement.

Santhakumaran Nair had been unwell for some time before his admission to hospital.
