Sadagoppan Ramesh criticises Tilak Varma's lack of awareness

Former India opener Sadagoppan Ramesh said Tilak Varma looked like he was taking a walk on the beach while the ball was still in play. The run-out in Indore left Ramesh stunned, and he questioned why neither batter stayed alert when the umpire stood far from the boundary.

Axar Patel grounded his bat, but Varma did not, and the decision went upstairs. Ramesh argued that distance from the umpire is exactly why both batters need to stay sharp.
