Saim Ayub's 58-ball 102 gives Kingsmen third win

Saim Ayub's century powered Hyderabad Kingsmen to their third PSL win as Patriots' chase fell short despite late resistance.

Saim Ayub scored 102 off 58 balls to help Hyderabad Kingsmen reach 182 and secure their third win of the PSL 2026 season. The innings kept Rawalpindi Patriots at the bottom of the table. Ayub's aggressive knock set the platform for Kingsmen's total on a surface that offered opportunities for strokeplay.

Andre Fletcher, Jason Holder and Dasun Shanaka threatened to chase down the target for Patriots but their slow progress earlier in the innings proved costly. The trio could not accelerate sufficiently to complete the chase. Kingsmen defended the total with room to spare as Patriots fell short despite the late charge from their middle order.

The win consolidated Kingsmen's position in the middle of the standings. Patriots remain winless in the tournament after the defeat.
