Saltburn suspend fielder in finger-clicking controversy

Saltburn Cricket Club have suspended the player at the centre of an alleged umpire deception incident. The club said the individual will not play again in the foreseeable future while the North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League conducts its investigation. A video that circulated online appeared to show the fielder clicking his fingers to simulate a caught-behind dismissal. The club has also lost sponsorship from a local Indian restaurant following the incident.
