Samaira Raghav joins Delhi Premier League after World Cup inspiration

Samaira Raghav said she could not grasp what had happened after being signed and was screaming in the first moment. She called her coaches and family immediately following the signing announcement.

Raghav's father had motivated her to join a cricket academy. She named Pratika Rawal, Shweta Sehrawat and Tanisha Singh as her greatest motivations. The 2025 Women's World Cup win inspired her cricketing journey, and she watched the final in a hotel room with teammates.

Raghav said younger players get a chance to play with seniors in the Delhi Premier League. She wants to learn Ashleigh Gardner's six-hitting routines and mindset, Richa Ghosh's six-hitting abilities, Smriti Mandhana's calmness on the field, and Harmanpreet Kaur's wealth of knowledge if selected for India.
