Samarawickrama guides Sri Lanka to Asia Cup semi-finals

Sadeesha Samarawickrama stayed not out on 48 as Sri Lanka chased down Bangladesh by four wickets and booked their place in the Women's Asia Cup semi-finals. Praboda claimed career-best figures of 3 for 21 to keep Bangladesh in check after they chose to bat first. Sri Lanka finished the job with overs to spare at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The result leaves UAE needing a heavy win over Bangladesh in their final group match if they are to catch them on net run rate. Sri Lanka end the group stage second in Group B behind India.
