Sanju Samson books entire theatre for Rajinikanth film Jailer 2

India wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson booked an entire theatre to watch Rajinikanth's film Jailer 2 after missing the opening-day screening because of an event in Delhi. He invited his wife, friends and Tamil-speaking members of the Indian team's support staff to the private screening. Samson said he has admired Rajinikanth since childhood and tries to watch as many of the actor's films as possible on the big screen. The meeting with Rajinikanth at his Chennai residence in March 2023 fulfilled a dream the cricketer had held since he was seven years old. During India's tour of Ireland in 2023, Samson also attended a special screening of the first Jailer film.
