Sanju Samson needs one more fifty to pass Gautam Gambhir's record against West Indies

Sanju Samson will break Gautam Gambhir's record for most fifties against West Indies across formats if he scores another half-century in the third T20I at Holkar Stadium on Sunday. He currently has four fifties against the visitors, matching the former India opener.

Samson has two fifties against West Indies in ODIs, his highest tally against any single opposition in the format. India lead the five-match T20I series 2-1 after the Ranchi defeat ended a 10-game winning streak.

The team management must decide whether to retain Naman Dhir or bring in Nitish Reddy for the Indore match. Dhir took three wickets on debut but conceded 25 runs in two overs, while Nitish has claimed six wickets in his last two T20Is.
