Shai Hope's 1,336 runs put him in frame for IPL 2027 mini-auction

Shai Hope has scored 1,336 runs in 29 international matches this year at an average of 55.66, including five centuries. His T20I numbers stand at 601 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of over 152.

Hope earned his maiden IPL contract with Delhi Capitals in 2024 and scored 183 runs in nine innings. His recent form against India has increased interest from franchises ahead of the mini-auction scheduled for mid-December in Goa.

RCB, KKR, DC and LSG have been identified as possible suitors. Hope is the leading run-scorer in the ongoing T20I series and has two centuries in four innings.
