Shai Hope says chasing in India always gives West Indies a chance

West Indies captain Shai Hope said chasing in India always gives his team a chance regardless of the target. Hope made the comments after West Indies chased down 250 to level the T20I series 1-1 in Ranchi.

Hope remained unbeaten on 102 off 45 balls while Sherfane Rutherford scored 84 off 37 in a 120-run fourth-wicket partnership. West Indies completed their highest successful chase in T20Is and the second-highest in men's T20I history.

Hope said the partnership gave the innings impetus and praised Rutherford for providing the spark needed to get over the line. The teams meet again in Indore on Sunday.
