Shreyas Iyer says India must improve fielding after Hamilton loss

Shreyas Iyer said India must improve its fielding after losing the final T20I to New Zealand by seven wickets at Seddon Park. India won the five-match series 3-2 despite the defeat.

Iyer stated that the team needs to raise its standards in both bowling and fielding ahead of future assignments. The comments follow a match in which New Zealand's top order capitalised on several Indian lapses in the field.

The series victory gives India a positive result to build on, but Iyer's assessment points to specific areas that require attention before the team travels for its next limited-overs commitment.
