Shreyas Iyer says India's refusal to complain showed champion mindset

Shreyas Iyer pointed to India's refusal to complain about the weather as proof of a champion side. They landed in Japan on September 20, yet rain wiped out almost a week of training. The quarterfinal against Afghanistan was washed out; the first proper session came only before the semifinal. Still, the players adjusted without excuses, and that attitude showed in the 19-run final win over Pakistan. Iyer named Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah for their collective impact. He also singled out 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, saying the teenager will dominate Indian cricket when the time comes.
