Shreyas Iyer to miss West Indies ODI series

India's T20I captain Shreyas Iyer will miss the three-match ODI series against the West Indies starting on September 27. October presents Indian cricket with a unique scenario as two Indian teams will play in different countries simultaneously.

Iyer is contracted to Punjab Kings in the IPL. The scheduling overlap forces the BCCI to manage player availability across two separate tours.

India's white-ball squad for the West Indies series will be confirmed in the coming days.
