Shubman Gill suffers elbow injury scare ahead of first ODI against West Indies

India captain Shubman Gill took a blow on his right elbow from a Mohammed Siraj delivery during nets ahead of the first ODI against West Indies. He stepped away in discomfort, the physio came on, and Virat Kohli and Siraj both checked on him.

Gill didn't bat again that session. He has a day and a half to get right before India open the three-match series on Sunday at Thiruvananthapuram.
