Somerset bend to Cliff and Coad's will to leave title dream on the brink

Somerset lost by 185 runs at Headingley after Ben Cliff and Ben Coad dismantled their batting on the final morning. Cliff finished with career-best match figures of 11 for 105, while Coad claimed four wickets.

Somerset slipped from 73 for 3 to 79 for 6 inside the first hour of day four. The defeat leaves them 11 points behind Warwickshire with one round remaining.

Somerset have never won the County Championship in their history and now require other results to go their way at Taunton next week.
