Sonal Dinusha hundred denies India series clean sweep

Sonal Dinusha's unbeaten 133 helped Sri Lanka draw the second Test and deny India a clean sweep.

Sonal Dinusha remained unbeaten on 133 as Sri Lanka reached 429 for nine on the final day to draw the second Test against India in Colombo. The draw prevented India from completing a 2-0 series victory.

India had won the first Test in Galle by 165 runs and took the two-match series 1-0. Dinusha scored four fifty-plus scores across the series, drawing comparisons to Sachin Tendulkar from BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla.

Sri Lanka began the final day with a 16-run lead and six wickets in hand after reaching 229 for six on day four. The hosts' rearguard action secured the draw.
