Sourav Ganguly says he has BCCI ombudsman order to coach Delhi Capitals while heading CAB

Sourav Ganguly said he has received clearance from the BCCI ombudsman to serve as Delhi Capitals head coach while remaining president of the Cricket Association of Bengal. Ganguly was appointed DC head coach ahead of the 2027 IPL season.

Ganguly's association with Delhi Capitals began in 2019 when he joined as an advisor. He later served as Director of Cricket for both men's and women's teams before taking the head coach role.

He said Rishabh Pant fits perfectly in the middle order and expressed confidence the batter will use the time and space at Kotla to become a better player. Ganguly also coaches Pretoria Capitals in the SA20.
