South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by 48 runs in the T20I tri-series final in Windhoek on Sunday. The Proteas posted 205 for five after choosing to bat and then bowled Zimbabwe out for 157 in 18 overs.
Jordan Hermann led the batting with a quick half-century. Dewald Brevis and Rubin Hermann added useful contributions to push the total past 200. Bjorn Fortuin's side completed their third win over Zimbabwe in eight days after an earlier loss to Namibia.
The victory secured the tri-series trophy despite several regular players resting during the tournament. South Africa maintained control from the start of the chase and never allowed Zimbabwe to recover.
