Sri Lanka focus on scoring runs and taking 20 wickets ahead of Colombo Test

Sri Lanka captain Dhananjaya de Silva emphasised the need for runs on the board and 20 wickets ahead of the second Test at SSC Colombo. He confirmed a similar bowling combination to the one used in the first Test.

De Silva highlighted the importance of taking all 20 wickets to have any chance of competing in the five-day format. Sri Lanka lost the first Test in Galle and need a strong response in Colombo.

The captain also welcomed debutant Kamil Mishara into the squad as the team looks to build experience across formats.
