Sri Lanka seek closer cricket cooperation with India, says SLC Transformation Committee chairman

Eran Wickramaratne, chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket's Transformation Committee, stated that the board wants to strengthen ties with India. Wickramaratne said both boards should work together to develop the sport. The committee is implementing administrative reforms within SLC following recent governance changes. Bilateral series between the two countries have historically provided Sri Lanka with competitive preparation and revenue. Wickramaratne's comments come ahead of the ongoing two-Test series in Colombo.
