Sri Lanka's squad will depart for the United Arab Emirates on November 10 for a tournament running from November 12 to 25. The 15-member group includes both experienced international players and young prospects. Harshitha Samarawickrama has been appointed captain with Kaveesha Dilhari named as vice-captain.

Dilhari is a right-handed all-rounder who bowls off-spin and is valued for her death bowling skills. Vishmi Gunarathne, a 21-year-old right-handed opening batter, scored a quadruple century of 417 runs from 128 balls in under-19 school cricket.

Experienced batters Hasini Perera and Nilakshika Silva are also in the squad along with wicketkeeper-batter Kaushini Nuthyangana. Sri Lanka's opening Group A match is against Ireland on November 12.
