Stephen Fleming cleared for Sky NZ commentary during India tour

England's new red-ball coach Stephen Fleming will carry out television commentary duties for Sky New Zealand during India's upcoming full tour of the country. The ECB has given formal approval.

Fleming, 53, stepped down after 17 seasons at Chennai Super Kings before taking Brendon McCullum's old job in July. McCullum had to give up a radio role when he took the same post, so the difference in treatment stands out.

Fleming joins the England set-up ahead of the three-Test tour of South Africa in December-January. India's tour of New Zealand starts with the first T20I in Christchurch on 22 October.
