Sultana says Bangladesh can surprise any team

Sultana said Bangladesh's collective performance could produce unexpected results against Australia.

Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana believes her side can surprise any opponent when they play as a unit. She made the comment ahead of their first-ever ODI against Australia.

Coach David Hemp has stressed the need for a positive mindset as the team gets ready for the match. Bangladesh have never played an ODI on Australian soil.

The series marks a big step for the women's side, building on their recent Asia Cup and Asian Games showings.
