Sunil Narine scores 55 and takes two wickets in CPL

Sunil Narine scored 55 runs and claimed two wickets to help Trinbago Knight Riders secure a win in the Caribbean Premier League. The all-round performance ended TKR's three-match losing streak in the 2026 tournament.

Narine reached his half-century for the first time in more than two years, batting through the middle overs before contributing with the ball. His figures included one wicket against Saint Lucia Kings, taking him to 650 T20 career wickets.

The result provides TKR with momentum heading into the latter stages of the CPL season. Narine's dual contribution addressed both batting and bowling concerns that had contributed to their recent defeats.
