Surrey sign Nathan Sowter on multi-year white-ball contract
Sowter joins Surrey; Trott takes charge of England Lions setup.
Surrey confirmed the signing of leg-spinner Nathan Sowter from Durham on a multi-year white-ball deal. Sowter, who has represented England Lions, will bolster the county's limited-overs options from the 2026 season.
England Lions appointed former Afghanistan head coach Jonathan Trott to oversee their upcoming programme. Trott's four-year stint with Afghanistan ended earlier this year.
The moves reflect counties' continued investment in white-ball specialists ahead of the domestic T20 and 50-over competitions.
