Suryakumar Yadav breaks silence on India T20I sacking

Suryakumar Yadav still can't quite figure out why the BCCI dropped him after he lifted the 2026 T20 World Cup. The selectors simply told him it was time to move on. Shreyas Iyer stepped in for the tours that followed in Ireland and England.

He admits the call was hard to swallow and even wondered whether he should keep playing. But he's still training hard and says he's available whenever they want him back. The selectors have the final say on that.

Suryakumar also led India to the Asia Cup during his stint as captain.
