Suryansh Shedge scores 66 as India A beat Australia A by 49 runs
Suryansh Shedge scored 66 off 60 balls as India A beat Australia A by 49 runs in the third unofficial ODI at the CAP Siechem Stadium in Puducherry on Sunday. India A posted 275 before bowling out the visitors for 226 in 46.2 overs.
Shedge came into the squad as a replacement for Hardik Pandya and has been India A's best player in the series. He found a place in the squad only due to the injury and raised his second List-A fifty to help the team prevent a clean sweep.
Gurjapneet Singh took three wickets as India A bundled out Australia A after the visitors had reached 177 for three. The pacers picked the last seven wickets for just 49 runs as the required run rate forced the lower order into big shots.
