Sussex appoint Beth Barrett-Wild as first female CEO

Beth Barrett-Wild moves from the ECB to become Sussex's first female CEO. Holly Colvin, the former England seamer, joins the board as a non-executive director at the same time.

Both women bring direct experience of the national governing body into the county's top tier. Barrett-Wild held senior leadership roles at the ECB; Colvin has already sat on ECB committees.

The club says the pair will help bridge county and national strategy. Sussex becomes the latest county to recruit from the ECB rather than promote from within its own ranks.
