'the match we won against India in 2021 damaged us a lot' — Mohammad Yousuf

Mohammad Yousuf says the 2021 T20 World Cup win over India left Pakistan's players cocky, and the team has paid for it ever since. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan had steered the chase of 152 that night, and the dressing room treated the result like a turning point.

Yousuf reckons the celebrations hardened into a mindset that never shifted. Pakistan have now lost their last five T20Is against India since that match.
