Trinbago Knight Riders retired Dwayne Bravo's No. 47 jersey, making him the first player in Caribbean Premier League history to receive the honour. Bravo won four titles with the franchise, including two as captain. The announcement came during the current CPL season.

The 41-year-old currently serves as head coach at TKR. He took 129 wickets during his playing career with the franchise. Bravo has won five CPL titles across different teams.

The retirement recognises his contribution both as player and mentor. CricTracker reported the franchise recognised him for six titles and 129 wickets during his time with TKR. No decision has been made on whether the number will remain permanently retired.
