Manchester Super Giants boost knockout hopes with 10-wicket win
Trent Rockets reached the Hundred knockouts with a six-wicket win over MI London while Southern Brave were eliminated from both competitions.
Trent Rockets booked their place in the knockout stages of the men's Hundred with a six-wicket victory against MI London at The Oval. Nat Sciver-Brunt's stylish 67 helped Rockets complete a nine-wicket win in the corresponding women's match. Southern Brave were eliminated from both competitions after defeats to Manchester Super Giants.
Mitch Marsh's half-century helped Trent Rockets post 201 for 4 in the men's match before they chased down their target with ease. The victory moved Rockets eight points clear at the top of the men's Hundred table. MI London struggled to defend their total despite a competitive effort.
Southern Brave's elimination from both the men's and women's competitions leaves them with no further matches in the tournament.
