Unmukt Chand suffers facial injury in USA match

Former India Under-19 captain Unmukt Chand suffered a facial injury during a cricket match in the USA, one day after scoring a century in Minor League Cricket. He confirmed there was no fracture.

Chand posted pictures showing significant swelling and bruising around his face. The injury occurred during an on-field collision while attempting a catch.

The 33-year-old had scored an unbeaten 100 from 67 balls for Lone Star Athletics against All Stars on September 19. He has played in Minor League Cricket and Major League Cricket since moving to the USA after ending his Indian career in 2021.
