USA and Canada remain suspended as Mauritius joins ICC

The ICC confirmed at its Annual Conference that USA Cricket and Cricket Canada will remain suspended. France Cricket also got a formal notice. Mauritius Cricket Federation, meanwhile, received full Associate membership and becomes the 111th ICC member nation.

Both North American boards face suspension over earlier governance and administrative issues. The ICC board reviewed their status during the conference but found no grounds to lift the bans. Mauritius now joins the associate ranks with full rights and obligations that come with it.

The decision leaves the door open for other suspended or provisional members to apply for reinstatement at future conferences, though no timeline was given for any further review of the USA or Canada cases.
