Vaibhav Sooryavanshi becomes youngest to score fifty in Duleep Trophy history

Sooryavanshi, 15, hits fifty in 42 balls to set youngest Duleep fifty record in East Zone semi-final.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 92 from 81 balls to become the youngest player to register a fifty in Duleep Trophy history. The 15-year-old reached the milestone in 42 balls during East Zone's semi-final against Central Zone.

Bihar Cricket Association officials congratulated Sooryavanshi after the innings at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. East Zone won by four wickets to advance to the final.

Sooryavanshi lofted off-spinner Saransh Jain for six to complete his half-century.
