Vaibhav Sooryavanshi took two wickets in four balls during East Zone's Duleep Trophy quarter-final against North East Zone in Bengaluru. The 15-year-old left-arm orthodox bowler dismissed Kishan Lyngdoh and Imliwati Lemtur in successive deliveries.
Sooryavanshi finished with figures of two for 11 from three overs. He had earlier scored eight runs from six balls in East Zone's first innings before being dismissed by North East Zone pacer Bishworjit Konthoujam.
East Zone posted 355 for six in their first innings, led by Sudip Gharami's 146. Shahbaz Ahmed scored 167 and took three wickets with his left-arm spin as East Zone enforced the follow-on.
