Varun Aaron says India should move past managing Shivam Dube

Former India pacer Varun Aaron said India should look past managing Shivam Dube after the all-rounder conceded 30 runs from two overs and scored seven off 10 balls in the second T20I against West Indies in Ranchi. Aaron stated Dube has received a long rope with the ball and must now deliver consistently.

Dube has featured in 81 T20Is and claimed 40 wickets at an average of 27.15 with an economy rate of 9.96. Aaron backed Nitish Kumar Reddy to feature in the final two matches of the series and said Prince Yadav could come into consideration depending on conditions.

India will play the third T20I in Indore on Sunday with the five-match series level at 1-1 after West Indies chased down 249 for a six-wicket victory.
