Varun Chakaravarthy ruled out of Afghanistan T20Is with side strain

India spinner Varun Chakaravarthy was ruled out of the remaining two T20Is against Afghanistan after scans revealed a side strain sustained during the first match in Delhi. The 35-year-old had returned from a previous hamstring injury and bowled four overs for 16 runs and one wicket before the latest setback. His availability for the Asian Games starting later this month remains uncertain.
